United…Alliance best corporate name
Congratulations 🎉
Awesome
Yay booster cam!!!
My money is still on SpaceX!
We can see the exhaust shadow as we are making it. Yea, space.
Why do you like this, where almost all is not recyclable and cost is way more than SpaceX?
Because NASA wants redundancy.
SpaceX does not have 100% recycling. Neither have they achieved their goal of a 24-hour turnaround, so far, the nearest they've got to that is 648 hours. So, 10 years of trying the best they can manage is 27 days. rofl
I like this because it's space and space is space if you aren't blinded by corporate loyalty.
Because rockets are cool
@@FrankBenlin Just like fish think about our environment.
Thank you ULA for the beautiful views from Rocket Cam. We do live on a big blue marble.
First Atlas III: Rob Gagnon First Atlas V: Rob Gagnon First Vulcan: Rob Gagnon First Atlas V with crew: Rob Gagnon Legend has it that Rob is preparing for yet another first...
Still even if starliner will be in service Boeing should use a different rocket. The Atlas 5 was made for payloads not for passengers. Maybe either have ULA build a rocket just for Starliner or strike a deal with SpaceX
No, atlas V is fine for crew, otherwise they wouldn't have certified it for that job. Making a rocket *just* for starliner and starliner alone would be a horrific financial decision. Why develop a completely new rocket if you have a perfectly good one thats already in operation?
The certification for another manned rated rocket would delay the program even further, the iss does have a proposed decommission date, would render starliner useless
Everyone gives information to those one who are working in this field from last 20 years 😅😅 man they have their own reason that why ula use atlas v for Boeing they are expert in this field and you are giving suggestions for these experts 😂😂
The only human certified American orbital rockets are Falcon 9, Atlas V and SLS, Falcon 9 is made by a competitor of boeing and although space x has launched some sort of competitors satellites (oneweb) I believe there is no way space x is going make this a really at least more economically than ULA can and SLS is expensive and is designed to go to the moon In the future I think ULA will certify its newest vehicle, the Vulcan but it's a long way till then
Thank you from The Netherlands
i wish brought start all 3 engine back like 2004 maiden flight DIVH.
It's a test with crew ? Shouldn't test have no crew ? And if tests succeed then we flight people ? I'm lost .
You sure are...

Proud to be part of the team that put crew back on Atlas! Proud day in my career and my life!!!
Wahhh what a crappy spaceship
So getting into a Boeing product is now considered being a hero. Got it.
Pretty sure most astronaut/test pilots, have been granted the title of "hero"...unless you think they are undeserving of that honor?

Ugh… Russian engines.
Congrats on the mission. Wishing you all the best on the return.
Amazing launch of my favorite rockets the boeing starliner godspeed starliner united launch alliance
I've watched very highlight video for decades, but this one hit me emotionally. Congratulations on launching Butch and Sunni into space! And looking forward to their safe return.
This is by far the most beautiful launch highlights video ULA has ever posted.
Next time show us the Booster Landing, that would be fun.
Atlas 5 doesn't have a booster landing
I'd bet good money that I could guess your generation... Do you Muskrats have any original material of your own? This is about the 1000th time I have seen this lame attempt at humor, be reposted.

Amazing. 🎉
Finallyyy Boeing! I wish all the current and future astronauts of starliner safe travels.
Scary enough getting on a plane built by Boeing. Can't imagine getting on a Boeing rocket. Probably held together with duct tape and bubblegum.

The collaboration here is amazing, to anyone who says crew dragon is better I respect that, but space is hard unless you think you can make something better than starliner tell me about it! Congratulations to ula and Boeing! Godspeed
Nah they’re pretty much equals, it’s just one’s had a bumpier road getting there but it has now! All that matter!
Scary enough getting on a plane built by Boeing. Can't imagine getting on a Boeing rocket. Probably held together with duct tape and bubblegum.
No, this particularly poor performance.
@@kickeramps " but space is hard unless you think you can make something better than starliner tell me about it" And what do you do? LOL! Troll on, good sir...troll on.
@@codymoe4986 I'm a tradesman. I do quality work and don't cut any corners to compromise safety, unlike Boeing. Boeing's only concern is their stock price. I don't claim to be a rocket scientist, so no, I don't have anything better. But Boeing is a crap company that only cares about their stock price and not safety of the people who depend on the vehicles they produce. It's not trolling if you're speaking the truth. I suggest you do a deep dive into the history of the Boeing company. Scary stuff. Also, haven't you even seen the news about Boeing in the last several years? I thought everyone knew about at least some of the safety problems they've had lately. Lol
